Small'ish Venue music

A bit larger, typically tickets or a cover charge

Smaller venues such as bars with larger music area's or smaller venues typically have a much more energetic and intimate experience with music. They can be a lot of fun

Lava Cantina, in the Coloney, is an outdoor, mostly covered venue. There's some seating but has a large area for watching or dancing, whatever your heart desires. There is a VIP seating area (less crowded near the front) that has waiters. Some conserts are free, some are paid. You can often get tickets at the doors
Located in the historic Stockyards, this restaurant and music hall is in a central area for nightlife in Ft Worth. They have some great bands, predomanatly country and western
This is a great venue located in Deep Ellum, a center food and music next to Downtown Dallas. There is an abundance of night life in this area and the Bomb Factory has some of the best.
TDouble Wide is one of Dallas’ premiere watering holes serving up the coldest beer, stiffest drinks and best live music this side of the Trinity! Seems like everybody knows about Dallas’ favorite little ol’ trailer park with people coming from far and wide to see what all the fuss is about. f it’s music you’re looking for, Double Wide is the place. Double wide has music from rock to country and just about everything in between, chances are you’ll find it at Double Wide!
TTrees is a 700 person capacity live entertainment venue located in the heart the most vibrant district in Dallas, Texas – Deep Ellum. While its bones are built on rock and roll, today Trees hosts shows for every kind of fan including rap, indie rock and EDM. The building was renovated in recent years and the once ramshackle operation has transformed to compete with some of the slickest ultra-lounges in town. A trip to Trees is a history lesson–plus you get to hear some great local and national bands.

Brad Thompson was born in Grand Prairie and went to High School at Bishop Dunne HS in Oak Cliff. He's a singer and songwriter. He plays solo gigs or gigs with his six or eight piece bands. He tries to keep an element of service in his schedule by regularly playing for our Nation’s War Veterans, assisted living centers, serving on the board for the Ronald McDonald House Fort Worth, and playing at my local church.
